’n 1995, Rieko Araki founded No X-it, the first street dance circle at Gakushuin University, which continues to operate today. She served as its president for two years. In 1996, she was appointed Vice President of the Kanto University Student Dance Federation Σ. She joined Dentsu Inc. in 1998 and was assigned to the Executive Secretariat Office, later transferring in 1999 to the Entertainment Business Division (Music Department). There, she engaged in live event sponsorship promotions and artist development initiatives. She supported one of Japan’s largest hip-hop festivals through sponsor promotions until 2004. In 2003, following the establishment of Dentsu Music and Entertainment Inc., she was seconded to the company, where she coordinated artist tie-ups for television commercials and content campaigns for major corporations, while also producing original live events and managing artists. In 2007, she joined Warner Music Japan. After working in A&R, she became a manager in the corporate tie-up division, leading integrated 360-degree business development. Focusing primarily on Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, she oversaw artist casting for advertising campaigns, music tie-ups, and live sponsorship promotions. She also produced large-scale promotional collaborations for Warner Music’s in-house events, including the 40th Anniversary Live at Nippon Budokan (2010) and the unBORDE 5th Anniversary Festival at Makuhari Messe (2016). In 2015, she founded ODORIBA Inc. Leveraging extensive experience across both the music and advertising industries, she is dedicated to contributing to the sustainable growth and advancement of the dance community.

Born in March 1992 in Tokyo, Orie Nagata began studying classical ballet at the age of six. Inspired by BoA at nine, she transitioned into hip-hop dance. After training at a local dance school, she enrolled at EXPG Tokyo at 19 and appeared as a dancer in tours and music videos. She further developed her professional experience through live performances, events, and assistant roles. In 2018, she joined One and only. Creative, led by SHOTA YOSHII. She served as an assistant for dance direction and dancers in live performances by artists such as Daichi Miura and Naoto Inti Raymi, and worked as a dancer coordinator for music videos featuring Gen Hoshino, JUJU, and Miyu Honda. Since 2019, she has played a key role in numerous projects at ODORIBA. For SEKAI NO OWARI’s hit song “Habit” (2022), she was responsible for the production of the dance section, including proposing the choreographers Power Puff Boys and overseeing execution. She has handled dance direction and coordination for a wide range of artists including King & Prince, Travis Japan, Number_i, Yorushika, sumika, For-Eight 48, and Miisha Shimizu, as well as television programs, commercials, events, and live performances. With a sincere and professional approach to every project, she continues to serve as a vital link between the dance industry and media.

Dancer / Choreographer A choreographer, director, dancer, and multidisciplinary artist.

Building on an early background in rhythmic gymnastics, Mioko Ogawa established a distinctive style by integrating contemporary dance, hip-hop, and animation. Known for innovative choreography and strong compositional skills, she is highly regarded for her versatility and expressive range. Her work includes choreography for music videos such as SEKAI NO OWARI’s “Saikou Toutatsuten” and Wednesday Campanella’s “Shotoku Taishi,” as well as corporate commercials, live performances, and music programs. In 2024, she served as General Producer and Choreographer for Japan’s national junior team, leading them to a third-place finish at the international competition Body Rock Jr. in Los Angeles. She has also appeared in numerous solo performances. In 2023, she made two guest appearances at live shows held at BLUE NOTE PLACE, collaborating with Kuro and luvis. As a video director, she demonstrated her versatility by overseeing planning, direction, choreography, and performance for singer-songwriter Kotone’s music video “Heaven” (2024). The work was selected for the Silver Screening Award at the Berlin Music Video Awards 2025. She also produces the dance and creative collective mico piece, through which she continues to present visual works, perform at live events, and create choreography.

1Born in 1989, Hikaru Tanabe began his career in street dance at Gakushuin University’s dance circle NOX-it. While still a student, he appeared in numerous events as a guest performer and battle judge, and gained experience performing in music videos as well as choreographing for underground idols and major-label artists. In 2017, he relocated to Vietnam, where he operated Hanoi’s first Japanese-owned dance studio. In parallel with frequent guest and judging appearances at local events, he appeared in ANA in-flight programs and directed promotional videos for government tourism campaigns. He became independent in 2018 and founded paak dance school in Hanoi. In 2021, he established Oldees Dance Club, a children’s dance school in Itabashi, Tokyo, now operating across four after-school facilities. After meeting ODORIBA’s founder Rieko Araki in 2023, he joined ODORIBA in 2024. He continues to work as a dancer and director for fashion shows and events, while also handling dance direction for artists such as King & Prince and Travis Japan, directing advertising campaigns for brands including Engage and LaLaport, and coordinating dancers for XG’s dome live performances. Grounded in the history, expression, and creativity of street dance, he is committed to expanding the role of dance within entertainment.

Born in June 2001 in Osaka, Rico Tateishi studied aerobic dance for three years and rhythmic gymnastics for eight years from the age of four, before transitioning into hip-hop dance. In 2015, she joined Kansai Collection ENTERTAINMENT and performed multiple times at Kansai Collection events. In 2016, she was selected from over 1,000 applicants to perform as a backup dancer for AI THE BEST TOUR in Osaka. In 2017, she joined the dance club at Tominagaoka High School, gaining nationwide recognition as part of the “Bubble Dance” phenomenon, with appearances on major television programs including Kohaku Uta Gassen and the Japan Record Awards. As captain in her senior year, she led the team to a second-place finish at World of Dance, while managing a group of nearly 100 members. In 2020, she enrolled in the Dance Department at Japan Women’s College of Physical Education and simultaneously began coaching her former high school’s dance club. Her choreography earned third place at the 9th National High School Dance Club Championship. After graduating in 2024, she studied dance in Los Angeles before joining ODORIBA upon returning to Japan. She remains dedicated to refining her skills and contributing to the continued advancement of the dance industry.

Born in Fukushima in 2001, Rua began dancing at a local studio at the age of seven, studying a wide range of styles including hip-hop, jazz, soul, popping, and hula.

During junior high and high school, she expanded her activities beyond Fukushima, performing at dance events and live shows in Sendai and Tokyo.

She moved to Tokyo for university during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite restrictions, she continued performing at events and stages in Japan and abroad. In an intercollegiate dance circle, she was responsible for publicity and choreography as well as planning and operations.

Today, she pursues genre-free expression rooted in freestyle. She is also a member of mcpc, the dance and creative collective produced by ODORIBA's mico, contributing to performance, planning, and creative production.

Believing in dance's power to connect people, she draws on her experience as a dancer to create places where everyone can shine.
